Directions from Breckenridge, Frisco, Keystone (or other points East)

Go West on I-70 to Exit 195 (Leadville/Copper Mountain Exit)
After taking Exit 195, you will be on Hwy 91 South
Go 24 miles to the Hwy 24 West turn off
Exit to the right onto Hwy 24 West
***If you go into the town of Leadville, you have missed the turn**
Go approximately 4 miles to Rancho Escondido on the left side of the road
Several old ranch buildings, our snowmobiles and kennel are visible from the road.

Directions from Buena Vista & Salida

Go North on Hwy 291 to Buena Vista
This Hwy turns into Hwy 24 North after you go through Buena Vista
Continue North on 24 to Leadville
Come completely through the town of Leadville
As you come out of the north end, you will see the Hwy 24 West exit to your left. Take this exit.
Go approximately 4 miles to Rancho Escondido on the left side of the road.
Several old ranch buildings and our snowmobiles and kennel are visible from the road.

Directions from Copper Mountain

As you exit Copper Mountain Resort, turn right onto Hwy 91 Southbound
Continue for 24 miles right to the edge of Leadville
Turn right onto Hwy 24 West. This is the Ski Cooper exit and the back road to Vail.
**If you go into the town of Leadville, you have missed the turn**
After turning right onto Hwy 24 West, continue for approximately 4 miles. You will go over a small bridge.
After going over the bridge, you will see us on the left. We have dogsledding banners on our office building and you will see snowmobiles in the field.

Directions from Vail

Through Minturn:

Go West from Vail or East from Edwards, Avon, etc. to Exit 171.
At the stop sign, turn right towards Redcliff/Minturn (Hwy 24)
Continue for 25 miles
Rancho Escondido will be on the right, just past mile marker 170

In Case of Bad Roads:

Go East on I-70 to Exit 195 (Leadville/Copper Mountain Exit)
You will then be on Hwy 91 South
Go past Copper Mountain Resort and continue on Hwy 91 for 24 miles to the town of Leadville.
At the edge of Leadville, turn right onto Hwy 24 West. This is also the turnoff to Ski Cooper and the back road to Vail. (If you go into the town of Leadville, you have missed the turn)
Continue on Hwy 24 West for approximately 4 miles
You will go over a small bridge.
We are on the left side of the road. You will see several old ranch buildings and our snowmobiles and dogsleds.
