If you would like to get a taste of what happens at a large dogsledding facility, you are in luck!
Alpine has added a new opportunity for you! During the winter season—Opening day to December 18th and January 10th to the end of the season) we will offer kennel tours at noon and 2 pm by reservation. Meet our beautiful sled dogs!

During the 45 minute, narrated kennel tour, you will hear about the following and more!
- Our rescue and placement activities with active racing kennels
- Alaskan vs. Siberian Huskies
- Basic kennel set up
- Exercise & training regimes
- The sled dog diet
- Information about the tours we offer
- Hear stories about our tours and see the gear we use for our exciting winter tours.
- Alpine does not actively breed on site, but sometimes we have puppies we have taken in from other kennels. If puppies are
on site and old enough for visitors, you will get to love on them too!

- Kennel tours are available during the winter season (see date restrictions above) by reservation. Walk-ins are welcome and
based on availability.
- Dress in layers including coats, hats, gloves, and eye protection (required).
- Remember, the dogs will be excited to see you and you are going to get lots of love from our dogs, so prepare to get a
little dirty while you are here.
- Arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time in order to have time to check in, get geared up and ready to meet
your guide for your tour.
- You are welcome to bring a camera and bottled water into our yard, but realize if you drop things, they become chew toys
for the doggies!
- We have adult-sized bibs and boots available for you to use at no extra charge.
- There is a 24 hour cancellation policy specific to Kennel Tours.
